Product Description
Aqua Buff 1000-W is a polishing compound designed to remove heavy oxidation or sanding scratches from gelcoat. It also cleans variety of surfaces including boat hulls with gelcoat. The compound removes 320 – 600 grit scratches. (To remove 1000 grit scratches and higher use Aqua-Buff 2000.) There are no oils or polymers in Aquabuff, so the surface you see is the true surface.
Note: Aqua Buff 1000-W is a blue-green color and is easier to see on some surfaces. Gives black and dark colored pigments a high sheen. Not recommend for polishing white gelcoat! Use Aqua Buff 1000-F on white surfaces.
Key Features:
- Swirl-mark Free Finish – achieve the ultimate shine!
- Easy Application – apply with Cotton or Foam pad
- Economical – less product is needed when compared to other brands
- Water-based – enrivironmentally friendly

Application: Dab Aqua–Buff 1000 or 2000 on the surface using a brush or cloth (stick to a small area), and then use a spray bottle to mist the surface with water. Only use about a coin sized amount per square foot (about half the amount used for other compounds.) Immediately machine buff* with a clean, damp, compound pad. Use wool or wool/blend pads only.
*For best results, use machine buffers that generate at least 2500 rpm
Tools:

Foam Polishing Pad – select a foam polishing pad to give the surface a professional shine
Cotton Buffing Pad – use a cotton buffing pad for a great polish
Misting Bottle – any spray bottle set to mist
